On Saturday morning the weather in SoCal didn't seems so Californian at all. So, first I went to Santa Monica Place to buy some essentials (Patty! I got your shampoo!). This is really a great place to shop, but I will tell you more about it later in a separate post. For the afternoon we decided to visit some of the beaches in the south. We started off to Manhattan Beach while the weather turned out to be not so bad at all. I was pretty happy that I decided to wear a basic white tank shirt under my cardigan, hot pants and my new white summer hat. I felt perfectly prepared for any weather changes!
Aferwards we had some real American fried (YES....) oysters at a Mexican seafood restaurant in Long Beach before we visited the Queen Mary.
